About Business line/Function:

BNP Paribas CIB ITO has launched its AI Acceleration Program to support the large-scale deployment of AI and GenAI, aligning with the BNPP Group’s 2030 AI ambitions.

The AI Acceleration Program team, based in EMEA and ISPL, oversees the following activities: 

•    Program Management activities (Animating AI Governance within ITO, Supporting AI Use Cases Lifecycle from idea to implementation, etc)

•    Change Management / Community of Practice animation (Communications, Trainings, Events, etc)

•    Control Tower (KPI Monitoring, Risk & Compliance)

•    AI Exploration Center animation (use case ideation, facilitating access to sandbox environment, etc)

Within the AI Acceleration Program, a CIB AI Control Tower has been initiated to pursue 2 objectives:

1.    Defining and measuring KPIs to track three main dimensions:

a.    AI Usage and Adoption 

b.    AI Platform Capacity 

c.    AI Value 

2.    Supporting Risk Management and Compliance of AI usage by providing relevant support, data, and logs to corresponding team

Position Purpose

As AI Acceleration Program activities mature, we are seeking to internalize a first position to reinforce the team with an AI Acceleration Program ISPL Coordinator and Control Tower Officer.

Responsibilities

Working under the supervision of the AI Acceleration Program Manager, the role will consist of:

•    Supporting the AI Control Tower Lead and progressively taking over part of the activities of the Control Tower (~80% of time).

•    Overseeing and coordinating the ISPL-based Program Team on other topics (~20% of time).


Direct Responsibilities 

1.    Coordination of AI Acceleration Program team in ISPL

o    Act as the local team leader for AI Acceleration Program resources.

o    Contribute to the animation of ISPL-specific governance regarding AI, and act as a bridge with the AI Acceleration Program central team.

2.    Business Intelligence:

o    Collect reporting needs, define and monitor KPIs accordingly to track AI usage, adoption, platform capacity, and value.

o    Work with the AI Platform’s BI Team to create and maintain dashboards in line with identified needs, ensuring BI Roadmap prioritization and delivery.

o    Collect, analyse, and interpret complex data sets to uncover trends and patterns, and provide reporting to stakeholders (Management, AI Catalysts, AI Platform, etc).

o    Ensure data accuracy and integrity through data validation and quality control measures.

3.    Support to Risk and Compliance framework

o    Provide support and coordination to Analytics Consulting, Risk, CCCO, and CIB Regulatory Engagement teams to contribute to risk assessments and regulatory compliance.

o    Act as a bridge, when required, between regional teams and central governance regarding regional Risk, Compliance and Regulatory topics in the context of AI.

o    Support the definition and implementation of AI-specific guardrails (such as terms and conditions, suspicious prompt monitoring), conduct periodic controls of AI product accesses, etc.

4.    Communication and Collaboration with stakeholders:

o    Work closely with different teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights (e.g. Community of Practice team to help them identify most suitable / targeted change management initiatives). 

o    Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

The ideal candidate will:

•    Be self-driven and proactive

•    Have a strong background in data analysis, visualization, reporting

•    Have advanced knowledge of Excel, and project coordination

•    Demonstrate excellent collaboration skills to work with diverse teams (across CIB ITO clusters and regions, and CIB and Group contacts). 

•    Familiarity and interest with current AI and GenAI trends and best practices.

•    Proven experience in project management within data and BI environments, as well as program coordination.

•    Advanced knowledge in Excel, knowledge of project management software (such as Jira). Understanding of BI tools (e.g. PowerBI).

•    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

•    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, orchestrate deliveries and meet deadlines.

•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable format.

•    Self-Driven and proactive mindset capable to deliver autonomously and supervise the delivery of other.

•    Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment across geographies.

•    Fluency in English
