Job Title: Clarity Developer

Department: CEFS IT - Functions Transversal IT Delivery

About Business line/Function: CEFS IT having focus on applications servicing Client Lifecycle management, Due Diligence /KYC , Customer Relation Management,  Service Request Management, Referential and Data Quality, PreTrade Transaction Screening and Anti-Money Laundering.  For testing tools & technologies being used include Java, VB Script, Selenium, BDD, TestNG, Restassured, Postman etc... Agile and DevSecOps practices are widely used. Landscape includes projects that are a mix of established and some under transition to new platforms.

Position Purpose: The Development Lead for Clarity PPM is the primary steward of the live Clarity environment, ensuring the tool remains available, performant, secure, and aligned with business processes. This role leads end-to-end development upgrades, support, and continuous improvement, collaborating with Business, Development, Infrastructure, and Vendor teams to resolve incidents, implement changes, and optimize the platform.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

  • Development, customization, and enhancement of Clarity PPM.
  • Lead upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal disruption.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by proactively improving delivery.
  • Maintain effective communication and escalation for production issues.
  • Prioritize production stability and minimize disruptions from changes.
  • Technical & Operational Excellence
  • Production Support & Incident Management
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
  • Ensure prioritization of production issues with swift resolution.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation in Wiki and ensure process adherence.
  • Project & Process Management
  • Oversee project tracking and delivery to meet deadlines.
  • Manage day-to-day activities, priorities, and budget metrics.
  • Ensure proper escalation processes and upward flow of information.

  • Ownership & Proactivity – Takes full responsibility for task delivery,anticipatesroadblocksand drives resolutions with minimal supervision.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Core Expertise
  • Deep experience with CA Clarity (MUX & Classic) – objects, portlets, views, lookups, configuration.
  • Strong PL/SQL (Oracle) and T‑SQL (MSSQL) programming – stored procedures, functions, complex queries.
  • Proventrack recordof Clarity installations, upgrades, and version migrations.
  • Proficient in XML configuration and Gel scripting for UI customization.
  • Primary Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, andmaintainClarity portlets, reports, and dashboards.
  • Provide 2nd/3rd‑level support for all Clarity modules (objects, portlets, views, lookups).
  • OptimizeSQL queries and overall application performance.
  • Write clear technical documentation, design specs, and release notes.
  • Participate in the fulltest‑lifecycle(unit, integration, system, UAT).
  • Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.
