Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations with 100% accuracy (acquire in-depth knowledge in trade booking, matching, settlements and reconciliation) 
  • Manage priorities during workloads and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner within agreed SLA’s.
  • Ensure all procedures are up to date and organized for easy reference from other sites.
  • Retain and share process knowledge within the team to support seamless transitions and takeovers.
  • Provide flexibility to support/handle process of other HUBS when ERS is invoked.
  • Ensure all checklist and documentation are completed and readily available during ERS takeover to mitigate risk in takeover.
  • Support and implement the new projects and migrations as planned by management.
  • Drive some process improvements in reducing cost and process efficiency.
  • Develop SME within the teams and ensure they act as your backups to support projects.
  • Prepare process flow and other documentations required by project team. 
  • Ensure operational processes are updated for each project when there is operational impact.
  • Ensure team members are trained in the new activities based on projects
  • Creates relevant solutions to add sustainable value to our clients  
  • Support Hybrid Model/Robotics.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to provide SME support and documentation.
  • Support monthly capacity planning data and provide timely data for dashboards (e.g., AFSO and other MIS requirements)
  • Monitor and ensure KPIs are consistently met within SLA requirements
  • Ensure “four-eye” checks are completed before deliverables are signed off.  

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Support hybrid initiatives and project/migration implementations.
  • Propose at least two Kaizen/process improvement initiatives annually focused on efficiency and cost reduction.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Candidate must be a bachelor’s degree holder with a degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Treasury Management or any other related field of studies.
  • Basic understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, and investment banking operations.
  • Must be amenable to work on a AUS/NZ Shift schedule (7:00 am to 4:00 am SGT)
  • Above-average accounting knowledge is preferable.
  • Ability to analyze, organize and report efficiently.   
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong MS Excel skills required. 
  • Ability to report and escalate operational incidents, breaches, and errors promptly
  • Strong understanding of KPI’s/KMP’s and adherence to audit guidelines (internal and external)
  • Ensure that the controls are performed thoroughly any issues promptly addressed and documented
