About Business line/Function:
The Intermediate Holding Company (“IHC”) program structured at the U.S. level across poles of activities of BNP Paribas provides guidance, supports the analysis, impact assessment and drives adjustments of the U.S. platform’s operating model due to the drastic changes introduced by the Enhanced Prudential Standards (“EPS”) for Foreign Banking Organizations (“FBOs”) finalized by the Federal Reserve in February 2014, implementing Section 165 of U.S Dodd-Frank Act.
The Data Office Team is part of the Information Technology Group which works simultaneously on a wide range of projects arising from business, strategic initiatives, regulatory changes and reengineering of existing applications to improve functionality and efficiency.
Position Purpose:
The role will report to the Technical Lead and help the project by owning the critical data transformation and integration processes. This would help faster and simpler development and maintenance. The profile is someone with excellent WTX and JAVA experience who can quickly adapt and deliver. Expected to train and develop the expertise of the team.
It involves coordination with other locations and divisions of BNP Paribas as necessary. It is important that the candidate should have strong technical knowledge along with high analytical skills and attention to details.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Analyze & estimate the requirement.
· Write detailed technical analysis with impacts (technical/functionally)
· Design & develop high quality code
· Unit test and provide support during implementation
· Bug fixing & performance optimization
Contributing Responsibilities
· Mentor and carry out code reviews of junior members on the team
· Support to Service Delivery team for Production issue.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Proficiency in:
· IFD, DID and WebSphere TX - Design Studio
· Creating WTX Systems, Maps, Typetrees and MDQ
· Unix Shell scripting
· Proficiency in Java, spring boot
· Preferred Devops Pipeline (Jenkins, SonarQube, git etc.)
· Preferred AngularJS Knowledge
Specific Qualifications:
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in WTX along with Bachelor's Degree
· Knowledge and experience in the financial services domain
· Good understanding of software development life cycle and Agile/iterative methodology
· Prior experience in offshore-onshore development/maintenance projects
