Business Overview:
Global Prime Services and Finance technology is seeking a senior Java Developer to assist in delivering applications supporting Global Securities Finance and Funding platform, expanding Funding and financing (pre trade and trade platform technically & functionally to support on boarding of clients, with focus on Inventory aggregation, collateral optimization, and funding efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Managing the entire software life cycle from concept design through to implementation and application maintenance
- Work in an agile and fast-paced environment interfacing with management, business and senior technology members to understand the requirement, provide business process automation ideas and solutions relevant to the project
- Design and develop scalable and flexible applications, document technical specifications and functional flows
- Enforce technical architecture standards
- Explain the functional/system requirements to the offshore development team and providing support for junior developers
- Hands-on with various software development including design, coding, UAT and deployment.
- Escalate blocking issues to the appropriate level of management.
- Perform Level 3 support on rotation, investigating any issues, determining root causes and obtaining resolution.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Comp Science or Math with 10+ year experience in software development
- 8-year extensive experience with Java
- Experience in design and building high performance, high availability, scalable, distributed applications capable of supporting straight through processing of large amount of data
- Strong Knowledge of Java 11, Spring Framework, Kafka
- Experience in Spring Framework and Java EE technologies
- Experience with SQL

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with representatives of a diverse range of departments globally
- Ability to:

- Work within an environment with high pressure on timeliness and quality of deliveries
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Inventory Management/ Securities Lending is a plus. Experience with streaming applications is a plus
FINRA Registrations Required:

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $120k to $200k annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
