Job Title: Vice President, Equity Derivatives Structuring

Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019

Duties: Lead the development of new equity derivatives products for Hedge Fund and Asset Owners. Analyze markets (implied equity volatility, skew, curve, dividends etc.) to detect dislocated parameters. Understand the flows leading to market imbalance. Structure products for investors to benefit of their eventual normalization. Understand platform market risk profile. Design and promote products enabling to share those risks to adequate investors in order to lower the risk of the platform and generate revenues to investors. Promote new ideas and products to clients. Identify clients’ focus to tailor products to their needs. Market and create marketing materials to present such innovative derivatives products and quantitative investment strategies for clients. Drive the junior members of the team to ensure the reliability in the duties they perform, their technical development and their personal growth. Collaborate globally with similar teams in Europe and Asia Pacific to ensure global coordination and circulation of new ideas, pricing methodologies, market specificities, client appetites. Create, program, and improve quantitative tools and software to perform the above structuring functions. Collaborate closely with functions on business related to equity derivatives or quantitative financial products: credit risk, market risk, compliance, legal, marketing, and other teams as needed. Ensure adequacy in terms of product appropriateness to client sophistication. *10% domestic and international travel to Americas, Europe, Asia required. *Telecommuting permitted 20%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas office in New York City, NY.

SALARY: $225,000.00 USD - $240,000.00 USD/ year

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)

Job Requirements: Master's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Quantitative Finance, Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field and three (3) years of experience with Equity Derivatives Structuring or Exotics Trading. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Utilizing Advance financial mathematical knowledge (stochastic volatility, American monte carlo) to design and price exotic equity and hybrid derivatives products; Utilizing Equity Derivatives market flow deep understanding and Macro economics to analyze market trend and identify potential trade opportunities; and Utilizing Python programming to automate pricing tasks and build dashboard and screening tools.
