Position Purpose
Tester will be responsible to:
Develop a good understanding on Domain.
Make yourself familiar with application (functional).
Analyse new requirements/changes (functional) from a testing perspective.
Identify Test Scenarios and create Test Case.
Create the Test Data for Integration Testing.
Carry out Integrated System Testing - Manual Testing.
Regular follow-ups on issues observed.
Familiarize on Automation and execution of tests.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Design and create Test Plan:
- Integrate and assimilate the specifications provided by BA (Business Analyst).
- Write the test plan which will prove that the programs fulfil the required functions.
Submit the test plan to BA for review:
- Communicate and follow-up with the BA for validation.
- Integrate the remarks, and up-date the test plan.
Prepare the Test Environment:
- Create necessary tests data, in collaboration with development and BA team.
Delivery of Development:
- Take account of the results of tests from development team, to decide to start testing.
Execute the Test plan for IST:
- Execute the tests defined in the test plan.
- Update the Acceptance report and the defects database.
- if any problem, contact the relevant development team and BA for confirmation.
Agile:
- Sprint Review Meeting, Showcase User Story to Stakeholders, Sprint Retrospective.
Automation:
- Execution of Automation scripts, report analysis & investigation in case of failure.
- Creation / maintenance of automation scripts.

Qualifications:
· 2 to 5 years of Functional Testing Experience in Software testing.
Domain / Technical:
· Knowledge in financial services industry specifically into CAPITAL MARKET (Security Services).
· Knowledge on Corporate Action and Clearing and Settlement (on Securities).
· End-to-End business knowledge on Trade Flow (Clearing and Settlement (on Securities).
· End-to-End business knowledge on Corporate Action Flow.
· Knowledge in SWIFT standards ISO15022 (MT Format).
o MT540, MT541, MT542, MT543, MT544, MT545, MT546, MT547, MT548
· Knowledge in SWIFT standards ISO 20022 (MX Format).
o SESE023, SESE024, SESE025
· Knowledge on business roles by Stock exchange, Settlement Center & Regulators (For example: SEBI).
· Good understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
· Added advantage with Automation experience.
Others:
· Focused to understand and learn application/business functionality.
