About Business line/Function:
jGestab is the project to address the Technology Obsolence of the Paradox Gestab tool.
The Windows based Paradox Gestab will be migrated to Linux platform coded in Spring Java / Angular . Oracle as the database and Apache and tomcat as the web and app server respectively.
Gestab is the database which store the Parameters for the Atlas2 application along with certain validation controls.

Position Purpose
The role is for a Technical Leader with experience of working within a dynamic and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs who works equally well as an individual or as part of a team.

The role is for a Technical Leader with experience of working within a dynamic and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs who works equally well as an individual or as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years Application Development and Maintenance & support experience. The candidate must have past experience of working as a part of Development / Support team.
The role will also involve all aspects of the Application development, M&E activities and to provide L3 support ticket resolutions. The candidate should have an understanding of full software life cycle (SDLC) as well as Agile Methodology.
Previous experience within the investment banking sector is not essential but will be an added advantage.

· Should have relevant hands-on experience as a Backend Developer.
· Excellent Knowledge & Understanding of Restful Webservices, JAVA Spring, Spring Boot, Unix, Oracle and SQL.
· Technical design and production support / L3 support for the applications.

· Should be able to understand complex design framework and perform code development.
· Ability to write Unit Test Cases.
· Prior experience in an application roll-out or implementation (Management / analysis / infrastructure / coordination roles)
