Position Purpose
Overall 10+ years in data management roles within banking, asset management, insurance, or financial services. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect with deep technical expertise and strong domain knowledge in financial services. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing data platforms that support critical financial processes such as internal reporting, data analysis, non-financial risk management and financial reporting. You will mentor & work with a team of data engineers & developers to ensure data is accurate, accessible, secure, and aligned with both business and regulatory needs.
The Data Architect should have key skills as mentioned below:
1- Strong experience to manage the end to end cycle, knowledge on Financial Market is an advantage
2 Good experience in the areas of Python, SQL server, Oracle, ETL, BI, Statistical Analysis, Data Warehousing and Data Governance.
3- Sound knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban).

Direct Responsibilities
- Represent CEP IT at local and global CIB Forums on Data Design/Architect/Modelling subjects.
- Proven track record of delivering data platforms supporting regulatory, non-financial risk, and financial reporting.
- Experience with large, complex financial data ecosystems.
- Propose / Review/ Challenge Application/database Architecture and Design.
- Guide/Review Technology Obsolescence Management plan for CEP teams.
- Lead automation and guide teams to align with shift left and shift right strategy by encouraging a mindset for automation first and reduce recursive manual efforts.
- Goto person to find solutions to any technical challenges in the domain.
- Hands on and lead by example.
- Review Performance test reports and propose preventive measures to be undertaken.

- Experience in Security topics such as IDP, SSO, IAM and related technologies.
- Good knowledge and experience on Batch processing & Streaming (Python, Informatica, SSIS. Knowledge of Ab Initio optional, Kafka, spark/pyspark), API Gateway (APIGEE) and analytics tool (Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects).
- Ensure data classification, data access, retention, encryption and masking (PII and financial data) are as per the needs of the business as well as that of regulators (GDPR, HIPAA, SEC etc)
- Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Compliance, and Operations to deliver trusted data for regulatory filings, risk reporting, and front-office analytics.
- Mentor data engineers and developers.
- Good experience of working with Data Modelling tools like Erwin, ETL tools, Database tools.
- Good Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps - CI/CD & Automation (Jenkins, Bitbucket, JFrog, Ansible, continuous testing).

- Ability & willingness to learn & work on diverse technologies (languages, frameworks, and tools).
