Position Purpose

A sourcing specialist plays a vital role in talent acquisition by proactively identifying, attracting, and engaging top talents to build strong pipeline for current and future hiring needs. They use advanced sourcing techniques, market research, and networking strategies to find qualified candidates, including passive talent, ensuring a steady flow of skilled professionals. By Collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers, they help streamline the hiring process, reduce time to fill, and enhance employer branding. Their efforts not only improve hiring efficiency but also strengthen the company's ability to secure the best talent in a competitive job market

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

  • Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract candidates for large-scale hiring requirements.
  • Work closely with Hiring managers to understand Job requirements, candidates profiles and business goals.
  • Leverage multiple sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals and external databases etc..
  • Strong knowledge of Boolean search strings and advanced sourcing techniques
  • Conduct initial screening to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline to support ongoing and forecasted hiring needs.
  • Proven ability to manage extensive recruitment efforts with efficiency.
  • Ensure an active database of pre-qualified candidates is available to meet mass hiring demands at short notice.
  • Meet or exceed defined key performance indicators.
  • Ensure strict adherence to recruitment policies & process compliance.
  •   Regularly track and report progress on hiring metrics, funnel conversion rates and SLA adherence.
  • Use recruitment analytics to identify bottlenecks and improve the Recruitment Sourcing process

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 to 8 years of experience in Sourcing & bulk recruitment
  • Strong verbal and written communication to engage effectively with candidates and Hiring managers.
  • Ability to clearly articulate job requirements and provide feedback.
  • Experience in conducting hiring drives, walk-in interviews and manage high volume recruitment campaigns.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, especially under tight deadlines and demanding scenarios.
  • Quick thinking and resourcefulness to address hiring challenges( eg – Niche skills, last minute requirements )
  • Adaptability to adjust sourcing strategies based on hiring outcomes.
  • Ability to maintain an engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Willingness to stay updated on the latest recruitment trends, tools, and techniques
