Job Title: Senior Teradata Developer

Department: ITG F&RS

About Business line/Function: Finance & Risk Solutions (F&RS) is part of the IT GROUP organization with a threefold sponsorship by IT GROUP, FINANCE and RISK. F&RS is dedicated to design, build, implementation and business support of IT solutions to service the needs of Finance and Risk.

Position Purpose: 

Within the F&RS entity, OFS NEO project team is to completely overhaul the Group's Finance platform, One Financial System (OFS), which manages the accounting of more than 70% of the bank's entities. The construction of this new generation of financial platform, which will take place over several years, is a key challenge for the Finance and RISK professions. This is a unique opportunity to participate in an ambitious and exciting project.

This position involves the design and development of the OFS NEO product within an agile squad and in coherence with the architecture and design patterns defined by the Technical Leader. It is part of a multidisciplinary team (architects, developers, analysts, production teams, etc.) that will operate in an agile and iterative mode, from design to deployment. The team is made up of about fifty people and will interact with a wide range of stakeholders within the IT and business community.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·       Analyze and interpret requirement specifications received from Business Analysts

·       Liaise with BAs for correct understanding and implementation of specifications to meet the client/user’s expectations

·       Take charge of the development work according to the priorities defined by the Product Owner

·       Propose technical solutions adapted to business needs and develop technical requirements

·       Design and develop high quality IT solutions, in terms of maintainability, testability and performance

·       Participate in code reviews set up within the program

·       Participate in the testing phases (system, user acceptance, regression…) as required

·       Package & deploy on non-production environments and monitor production deployments

·       Provide L3 support to operations from a technical perspective

·       Implement best practices and coding standards

·       Work closely in a “one team” approach with all stakeholders

Contributing Responsibilities

·       Participate in transversal and capability building efforts for the bank

·       Contribute to overall F&RS responsibilities on efficiency, control and development of solutions
