Job Title: VP – Sr. Program Manager

About Business line/Function: CEFS

Position Purpose:

Provide Delivery leadership and manage portfolio of Applications in Client Life Cycle Management

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

  • Execution & Delivery: Full ownership and responsibility on project delivery with strong governance - ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle from inception to post-launch review.
  • Strategy & Planning: Develop program roadmaps, defining goals, objectives, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategic vision.
  • Technology and Architecture: Review design and tech solutions. Provide guidance to team on target state tech solutions on best practices and industry tech standards.  
  • Leadership & Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams (tech, product support, operations, business), manage interdependencies between projects, and provide guidance to PMs, Developers and BAs.
  • Risk & Compliance: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with all levels, including executive leadership, providing updates, managing expectations, and driving consensus.

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Proven leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of banking processes, financial regulations, and risk management.
  • Experience with large-scale software implementations or digital transformation programs.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities for executive reporting.
  • Relevant Project/Program Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are often required. 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

·       Strong knowledge of Technology in Banking

·       Strong knowledge of Design and Architecture of Platforms (inhouse and vendor)

·       Strong knowledge of Software Development lifecycle (Agile and Waterfall)

·       Strong Collaboration skill to work in a global landscape.

·       Excellent organizational skills – manage priorities; handle issues and manage stakeholders.  

·       Make effective presentations to senior managers.

·       Handle Transformation of Legacy systems.

·       Innovation and Process improvement experience

Specific Qualifications:

Engineering Degree in Computer Science/MBA in IT or Finance

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills, and abilities)
