To oversee Payments and Cash Management delivery project and to lead project members to collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget and good quality delivery.
To deliver viable solutions that evolves the Bank’s Cash Management & Payment platforms to drive and support business growth and meet the objectives in the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Owner to planning and developing IT Delivery Roadmap for projects and to monitor the execution from end-to-end perspective.
Be knowledgeable and oversee projects coordination and managing projects interdependencies (resourcing, timeline and budget), supported by other fellow Project managers, including e.g.
Project plan baselining, project cards update
Tracking of Actuals against Budget and report any deviation
Cross-project resource management between Application Development teams, Offshoring IT teams, vendors.
Support and assist the Domain Head and/or Programme Manager on budget matters
Identifying and address project dependencies, risks and issues monitoring and mitigation (drive negotiations and to problem-solve).
Work with Project Managers, Vendor and Development teams to address defect leakages, ensure quality control and improvements.
Provide program documentations and presentation decks for Management and Project Steerco (presentation) reporting.
Stakeholders’ communications (ITO, Business), and be effective to escalate and manage escalation to ensure projects/program objectives are on track.
Uphold and ensure the Project and Program deliverance adhere to Corporate Governances and processes.
Optimising IT Project Delivery resource capacity as well as aligning deployment / implementation windows managed by Application Production Support team.
Contributing Responsibilities
Vendor management and drive RFPs for new solution if required.
Expected to work cordially with fellow Project Managers within Cash Management IT as well as other Domain PMs to align key departmental objectives. When necessary, he/she will escalate and manage escalations to ensure attention and support are given to mitigate program/project dependencies, risks and issues.
Participate and contribute to studies, methodologies adopted by the department, also to understand and apply seamlessly these standards
Contribute to all necessary meeting organizations and preparation
Requirements
Technical
Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to details, strong work ethics, team spirit, and exceptional customer serving attitude. Operational experience will be an added advantage
Should be familiar with common cash management, payment market infrastructure, systems and products and industry standards at least in APAC
Experience in working with offshore on different time zones, and ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and multi-cultural environment
Practice of SDLC and/or Agile Scrum
Technical / programming background will be an added advantage
