About the job

  • To actively contribute to pursue BNP Paribas’ Recruitment strategy and growth for Portugal. To ensure an effective Recruitment delivery to the Group’s Business Areas at local level, by sourcing and assessing the right talent in the shortest period possible, while managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders (Hiring Managers and Candidates), acting as advisory partner and respecting the highest ethical and conduct standards at all moments

Your Main Activities Are

  • Recruitment Delivery: Playing an active role in the overall activity of Recruitment & Talent Sourcing for Portugal, to meet the goals of attracting, hiring and retaining the best talent, while growing a strong pipeline of Candidates and contributing to continuous improvement through suggestions of best practices. Also ensuring that BNP Paribas Portugal sources and attracts Candidates taking the most out of different sources, applying appropriate assessment methods and producing high-quality assessment reports.
  • Team Management: Leading a Team of Recruitment officers, ensuring the accomplishment of its objectives, while keeping its members engaged and motivated, ensuring a structured induction plan for new joiners and ongoing training and coaching of team members.
  • Information Record: Keeping regular monitoring procedures over data in all Recruitment tools, ensuring they are up to date and duly populated with the most complete information, ensuring accuracy and resilience in Recruitment and that data quality supports well-informed decisions. Also, ensuring all Recruitment Officers are familiar with Recruitment data analysis and are aware of their individual contribution to the overall Team’s results.
  • Stakeholders’ Management: Working in cooperation with the business areas, other HR Teams (HR Business Partners, L&D, HR Support and others) and external suppliers to translate business needs into appropriate Recruitment solutions. Ensuring Recruitment Officers are prepared to build influential and positive relationships with Candidates during the selection process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contributing to continuous improvement in Recruitment by keeping vigilante and suggesting efficiency improvements to the Recruitment processes, while managing complex projects with operational impact in Recruitment and supporting team members in managing their own individual projects

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or similar areas
  • More than 7 years of professional experience in Human Resources
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Ability to develop others & improve their skills
  • Ability to share / pass on knowledge
  • Ability to develop and adapt a process
  • Ability to understand, explain and support change
  • Client focused
  • Ability to develop and leverage networks
