The position at a glance
The CEFS IT team is responsible for designing, building and enhance local applications to support Client Onboarding and KYC teams for the AMER region, such as CARS and CLM Toolkit Americas.
We are seeking a dynamic IT Team Manager / Project Manager to lead the design, development, and continuous enhancement of the local applications that support the Client Onboarding and KYC teams across the AMER region.
In this role you will:
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the local application portfolio (e.g., CARS, CLM Toolkit – Americas) while ensuring alignment with the global CEFS architecture and standards set by the Central team.
- Support CEFS sponsors and their projects
- Provide hands‑on leadership to a mixed on‑shore and off‑shore delivery team, driving priorities, resource planning, and cross‑team synergies.
- Act as the primary project manager on some initiatives, overseeing the full product lifecycle—requirements gathering, design, build, testing, deployment, and post‑production support
In detail
The team members are responsible of the following activities:
- Responsible for managing, coordinating and advising the sponsors on their portfolio with their BAU and projects needs - requirements gathering, prioritization, maintaining roadmap, etc…
- Perform analysis to define requirements, functional specifications, user stories, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
- Supervise/Perform IT Governance when required
- Manage the various committees for communication to Senior Management and/or stakeholders.
- Act as the liaison between stakeholders, users and the development team to drive the execution of the roadmap
- Responsible for the development of detailed project plans to assure activities are understood and commitment is gained to meet overall objectives
- Define and support the business testing and training strategies and accompany the business to obtain user acceptance
- Monitors and controls delivery within determined budget and timeframes
- Ensure that all current norms and standards are respected
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities
- Supervise maintenance of the platforms and monitor health of assets (obso, vulnerabilities, ....)
- Comply with the regulatory requirements linked to the Client Onboarding and KYC applications
If VP or higher, precise:
- Structure the team and provide the priorities and duties to the team members
- Show leadership in team management
- Build partnerships and strategic relationship with the sponsors through deep understanding of the functional business domain
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, contributing to internal knowledge bases, white‑papers, and community‑of‑practice sessions.
Staff supervision/ Organizational Structure:
- BA located in US under direct supervision
- Developers located in US and India under indirect supervision
Work conditions: This position provides for standard working conditions in an office and a normal work schedule from Monday to Friday. This position might require little travel.

Education:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.

- 8 to 10 years of experience

- Fluent English (required)
Soft skills:
- Extensive experience as Business Analyst (if possible around Client onboarding, KYC, Compliance domains) translating regulatory and business requirements into actionable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple workstreams, set clear priorities, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Proven record of delivering large‑scale, multi‑region projects
- Ability to lead cross‑functional, distributed teams (on‑shore + off‑shore).
- Ability to articulate complex concepts and business implications clearly and concisely to audiences ranging from developers to senior managers
Technical skills:
- Proven command of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), ensuring efficient delivery and continuous improvement.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management to accelerate time‑to‑market
- Solid understanding of SQL, and some knowledge of programming languages, enabling effective guidance of development teams, rapid issue triage, and remediation of legacy code, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.
