The Analytics Lab is the center of excellence in AI/Machine Learning within Change & Solutions serving the Americas region. The team sits across the US and Canada, working closely with our internal clients to provide innovative and tailor-made AI solutions to improve our client knowledge, operations and reduce risks.
In Canada, the team is located in downtown Montreal, at the heart of a thriving ecosystem of startups, world-class academic institutions, and talented workforce.
The Lab is also proudly part of Analytics Consulting, a global team of international experts that builds AI solutions for CIB. Beyond the presence in Americas, you will have the chance to collaborate and participate in projects with people from Paris, Lisbon, London, and Warsaw.
We are looking for a positive, energetic and self-motivated team player with strong organizational skills to drive the success of some of our most strategic projects. This is a critical role that bridges the gap between business objectives and technical execution. This role ensures that a cross-functional team of Data Scientists, Developers, and IT partners delivers high-value products efficiently, aligned with strategic business goals, and adhering to high quality standards.
In detail
The Product Management Scrum Master plays a key role in ensuring that the core team of Data Scientists and Developers perform valuable work efficiently.
- Leverage Agile Methodologies: Utilize Agile project management practices for efficient Data Science prototyping and product delivery.
- Align Product Vision and Roadmap with Business Goals: Ensure the product vision and roadmap are in sync with the overall business objectives and strategies.
- Oversee Product Development: Manage the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Data Scientists, Developers, IT Partners, QA, Business Partners, and Control Functions to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
- Gather and Prioritize Requirements: Collect and prioritize product requirements from business stakeholders to ensure the product meets market needs.
- Develop Communication Materials: Prepare clear and compelling documentation, presentations, and reports for diverse audiences, including business stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership.
The strengths and skills that will help you succeed
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience (data related product management, information management).
- Strong analytical mindset skills and experience with machine learning techniques and applications.
- Proven success in organizing and leading Agile projects using Jira or similar tools.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in creating professional, actionable PowerPoint presentations to align diverse stakeholders on project objectives.
- Demonstrated exp erience in gathering and documenting products specifications and functional requirements.
- High level of professionalism, strong work ethic, and ability to handle confidential information
- Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Knowledge of the English is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI) and SQL .
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python ).
- Knowledge of big data framework
- Good understanding of Web development
- Experience in Financial Services
