Nickel is a start-up belonging to the BNP Paribas Group. We are a company with a very clear purpose: our mission is to fi ght against fi nancial exclusion through a simple, face-to-face and accessible service. Nickel offers an account that is open to everyone, without any income condition or linkage. What do we do?
We offer a payment account, with a national IBAN and a Mastercard debit card that the customer can open at a lottery or tobacco shop without leaving the neighborhood. This unique business model already has more than 4 million customers and more than 12,000 points of sale.

ABOUT THE JOB
MISSION
The PR & Brand will report directly to the CMO Nickel Spain.
The main responsibilities of this role are:
➔ Implement a PR Strategy, cocreated with our agencies / collaborators, in order to continue developing the brand awareness and notoriety of Nickel Spain.
➔ Adapt the Central’s Brand image guidelines, through the vigilance and tracking of all the campaigns and communications to ensure the consistency and positioning of the Brand in Spain through the online and offline channels.
➔ Be the Brand identity ambassador of Nickel Spain, to ensure that our brand aesthetics are assured both in our B2C communications and at our PoS.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● PR and media relations:
○ Manage external PR agency and the daily activity.
○ Supervise press releases and press events, executive quotes and other PR contents.
○ Build a PR strategy aligned to the company vision and objectives.
○ Cultivate relationships with key influencers to build a brand community.
○ Monitor trends and sector’s activity to identify editorial and growth opportunities.
● Brand image and positioning:
○ Be the ambassador of Nickel’s Brand identity, to ensure that our brand aesthetics are assured in our B2C & B2B communications and at our PoS.
○ Implement actions and processes to assure the Brand identity in the company to elevate our brand.
● Partnerships / Associations / NGO:
○ Identify and manage possible activities and campaigns with Partners, Associations and NGO.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Journalism or Communications
+2 years or previous experience in similar roles.
Fluent in English.
