The Data Office team is part of the Data & Digital perimeter in Portugal, within COO scope, functionally reporting to central CIB Data Office team in France.
Within CIB Data Office department, you will report to the Data Privacy & Protection Manager. The team's mission is to lead daily GDPR BaU duties within the 1st Line of Defence, supporting CIB clients in achieving their objectives in terms of compliance with privacy by design principles and other data protection requirements, in close interaction with CIB Central Data Office, the SPOC network (1st LoD) and the DPC/DPO network (2nd LoD), adapting the complex regulatory landscape to the Bank's business reality.
Your Main Activities Are
- Provide opinions on GDPR data protection section of impact assessments, leading privacy assessments such as PAQ, DPIA, TIAQ, LIA
Ensure CIB project validation processes comply with Privacy by Design principles
Promote the continuous improvement of the Privacy by Design framework by proactively identifying and proposing improvements to the current processes, while actively managining stakeholders and supporting them as SME in their data privacy and protection activities, by simplifying complex and technical concepts in a business oriented way
Manage incoming external and internal requests in the outlook inbox of GDPR DESK, including DSRR, keeping the Tracker file up to date
Support Central CIB Data Office in preparation of data protection committees
Maintain an efficient network across Territories 1LoD and 2LoD, and promote liaison and alignment with Central CIB Data Office initiatives
Contribute to the update and maintenance of knowledge base and transfer mechanisms, and coach new members as necessary
Contribute to awareness / change management activities inc. publication of articles
Develop and share best practices with the data protection network
Maintain a regulatory watch on data protection and contribute to disseminate a culture of personal data protection within CIB
Profile and Skills to Success
- At least 5 years of experience, including significant experience on Data Privacy / GDPR
- Law and regulations - Regulatory (GDPR)
- Communication skills - oral & written
- Good written and spoken English is a must
- Ability to develop and leverage networks
- Attention to detail / rigor
- Ability to synthetize / simplify
