About Business line/Function: Within CIB Securities Services, IFS – UK IDEA Team is mainly handling the Middle office Position Keeping services for providing the Security services & Reporting features to its client for across multiple locations.

Drive the design, build, and maintenance of the project’s core data‑transformation and integration engines, delivering faster, more maintainable solutions. Deep
Oracle
PL/SQL expertise and a solid background in data‑warehouse and BI reporting platforms, adapting swiftly to evolving requirements and collaborating tightly with the IDEA Team Reporting squad as a core developer.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Technical Design: Translate functional stories and data flow diagrams into logical/physical database designs. Create ER diagrams, data dictionary entries, change impact analyses and Analyse & estimate.
- Development:
- Write reusable PL/SQL packages, functions, procedures, and triggers.
- Build and optimise complex SQL queries, analytic functions and Implement batch processing jobs.
- Performance & Tuning, Data Integration
- ETL pipelines (WTX, Data Stage, Informatica/Talend or custom PL/SQL) to move data between two endpoints.
- Write detailed technical analysis with impacts (technical/functionally)
- Unit testing, E2E Testing and provide support during implementation.
- Bug fixing
- Report & Dashboard development with DWH & BI reporting tools (Spotfire, Vermilion, Tableau, Power BI etc.)
Contributing Responsibilities
- APS & OPS Support & Ops - Own L3 incident resolution for database related production tickets. Create RCA documentation and preventive action plans.
- Knowledge Sharing - Mentor junior developers, lead code review, and contribute to the team’s best practice repository.
- DevOps - CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, static code analysis and contribute to process improvement initiatives with Agile approach.

Specific Qualifications:

- Prior experience in offshore-onshore development/maintenance projects
