- The Loan Trading Middle Office Team Leader is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Loan Trading Middle Office. Acting as the primary escalation point for internal and external stakeholders, this role ensures seamless processing of trades while maintaining robust risk and control frameworks. The Team Leader drives process improvements, strengthens relationships with front office, legal, external clients, and operations teams, and provides leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a high-performance culture within the Loan Trading Middle Office function
Your Main Activities Are
- Lead and manage a team of analysts, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of Loan Trading Middle Office functions
- Act as the key point of contact for Sales and Trading desks, providing senior-level support and resolving complex trade-related issues
- Foster a data-driven approach, using analytics to support decision-making and enhance trade support processes
- Monitor key performance/risk indicators and provide regular reports to senior management, identifying trends and develop/implement action plans to improve operational performance and risk management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying inefficiencies and implementing automation or workflow enhancement to optimize trade support processes
- Strengthen risk and control frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while proactively mitigating potential issues
- Foster strong client relationships by ensuring prompt and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage and escalate production issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement remediations and sustainable solutions
- Develop and mentor team members, fostering career growth, providing training, and promoting a high-performance culture
- Represent the team in management meetings, contributing to strategic initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of middle office operations
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
- From 3 to 4 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, namely Excel
- Analytical Ability
- Attention to detail
- Client focused
- Ability to collaborate and to deliver
