MISSION
The Back Office (BO) for Corporate Structured Credit provides servicing activities related to syndicated loans or complex bilateral credits. This includes loans to customers of different Business Lines. Complex credit transactions are booked in the credit management system and then transferred, after the first drawdown, to the Back Office (BO) for Corporate Structured Credit located in Lisbon for the servicing of the live cycle events of the credit. The Loan Servicing Officer is responsible for managing all events linked to deal lifecycle, which encompasses managing bookings and updates of the loan management system.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all the events of the life cycle of the Credits: Drawdown, full or partial payment, Transfer, Accounting for Fees, Process and Follow up of accounting breaks, Deal termination.
- Manage post treatment of the activity (ex. incoming cash, paid, pending transactions).
- Manage and promote good relationships between Department and stakeholders: Middle Office (in charge of deals), Back Office (closing teams) and External interlocutors (Banks belonging to banking pools and Agent Banks).

Soft skills :
- Risk Knowledge and Awareness: having a strong understanding of operational risk management principles and practices is crucial in this role. This includes being able to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated.
- Attention to Detail: Loan Servicing Officers for Structured Credit must be meticulous and detail-oriented when reviewing and processing loan documentation, payment schedules, and other critical documents.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Effective teamwork and collaboration are essential in this role.
Technical skills :
