The Global Markets business of BNP Paribas helps its corporate and institutional clients leverage capital markets across the globe for their financing, risk management and investment needs. Position Purpose
Result oriented Senior Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience. Can work with the team to produce high quality requirements and collaborate with development teams to deliver within timelines. The candidate should be functionally and technically inclined and with proven working record in the Banking, Capital markets, Listed derivatives (Clearing & Settlements) and Oracle database skillset.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Functional expertise on “Listed Derivatives” to assist the team locally:
- Knowledge on the Front to Back Derivative STP chain
- Experience in Back Office functions (settlements, Clearing reporting, position management, expiry, Corporate Actions)
- Knowledge of BO accounting processes for listed derivatives
- Subject Matter Expert to the Dev & Support team for all functional issues
- Maintenance and Enhancements:
- Interact with users to understand change requests/new requirements/bugs.
- Write business requirements specifications for IT team.
- Build and run tests scenarios to validate the enhancements & regression.
- Support users during UAT/Production
- Write team and end-users documentation.

- Knowledge of financial flows, including specificities of listed derivatives (Initial Margin, Mark to Market)
- Sound knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Lean/Kanban would be a plus)
