The Graduate Programme – Investment Banking track is a unique experience that gives you the best in training and guidance so you can play a key role in our future successes. You’ve got the potential, and we’re committed to helping you fulfil it.
You will join BNP Paribas through a 12-month graduate rotational programme. This will include two 5 months assignments in the UK, to allow you to better understand 2 different activities of investment banking: M&A & Equity Capital Markets. At the end of this programme, you will join back the BNP Paribas KSA office to further continue your career in M&A & ECM.
What will your first 12 months look like?
You will be part of a cohort of European & Middle East graduates recruited from different countries.
Your journey will start with a specific induction programme in the UK covering both technical and on soft skills
Then, for your first rotation, you will be joining the M&A teams in UK. You will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of Mergers / Acquisitions (buy or sell-side, public or private). You will be involved in every step, from marketing to execution, and help prepare the required presentation materials for client pitches and transaction execution.
After 5 months, you will discover a second activity in investment banking and start your second assignment in Equity Capital Markets. Equity Capital Markets offers equity or equity-linked capital raising activity for corporate clients. As a Graduate, you will be accountable for providing support to more senior team members on routine marketing, executing, and regulation activities in relation to transactions within their respective business area.
Throughout the Graduate Programme you will continue to benefit from an adapted development program.
And then what is next?
After the 1-year assignment with the two rotations in UK, you will be assigned to your target role, a permanent position, within the teams in the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia.
What will be your main roles and responsibilities during the programme?
- Exposure to a wide range of clients and projects.
- Exposure to the full range of our business areas and product offering.
- Developing a knowledge of legal documentation and analysing its strength and appropriateness.
- Undertaking frequent individual analysis on these clients and submitting these reports to our sanctioning bodies.
- Assisting in the origination and execution of transactions.
- Assisting in conducting industry research and analysis.
- Preparing pitch books, presentations and memorandums.
- Financial analysis and valuation by developing quantitative models.
- Develop understanding across corporate finance /treasury concepts, client needs and how Bank / Client solutions are created, across all product lines.
- Provide input into credit papers and work with the Credit Analysis team to ensure the delivery of papers, in a timely manner.
- Engaging with other teams of the Bank.

Competencies, Experiences ad Skills
You should be a Saudi national with outstanding academic records (University GPA not less than 3.75 out of 5 or 2.75 of 4 or equivalent). Your knowledge in finance and your analytical skills should be demonstrated. You will also be expected to have a strong team spirit and ability to work autonomously or under the close supervision of others.
To succeed, you should be able to navigate a highly demanding environment and to deliver your work within the requested quality/deadlines.
Requirements
- Saudi nationals who graduated in 2024 / 2025 (Must)
- University GPA not less than 3.75 out of 5 or 2.75 of 4 or equivalent.
- Fluent in English a minimum of 6 IELTS score or 60 in TOEFL ( IBT) or 513 IN TOEFL ( PBT) , excluding the graduates of accredited universities in English speaking countries (Must)
- Bachelors in Finance degree with good record from a leading university (Must)
- Internship experience within the M&A advisory or investments teams in a reputed firm (investment bank, big 4, large IB boutiques, large PRs) (Must)
- Solid knowledge in corporate finance or financial modelling (previous internship or work experience an advantage) (Must)
- Solid knowledge of typical valuation methodologies (including discounted cash flows and market multiples) (Must)
- Proactive and enthusiastic self-starter.
- Exposure / familiarity with Excel (including use of formulas / links to assumptions rather than hard-coding)
- A strong personal focus on accuracy and attention to detail and able to prioritise workload based on shifting business needs.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure.
