Junior Fund Accountant in Hedge Fund Services Operations
Requirements:
- Experience gained in banking industry (i.e. Internships, Graduate Programmes) would be a plus
- Knowledge and understanding of various types of financial instruments (equities, bonds, ETD/OTC derivatives, corporate actions)
- Understanding of bookkeeping principles and fund accounting
- Excellent communication skills with English on advanced level (C1)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details. Organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Highly motivated and engaged with proactive approach with accountability and client focused mindset
- Good PC literacy and command of MS Office
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Responsibilities:
- As a member of NAV Calculation Team, you will be responsible for daily NAV calculation and control activities, in particular:
- Transaction processing/control
- Control of fund expenses and corporate actions
- Control of Reconciliation output for cash, securities and derivatives positions
- Dealing with OTC and collateral products
- Valuation of funds’ assets
- Investigation and resolving fund accounting cases
- Acting as a point of contact for various stakeholders
