We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant – All Genders – English Proficient - Oporto – 1-Year Contract – Hybrid
BE PART OF OUR DYNAMIC FINANCE TEAM
Our main goal is to guarantee to our administration and shareholders that the information produced internally presents truly and fairly the reality of the company at every moment. The treasury responsibilities guarantee the payment on time of all suppliers and calculate treasury long term needs as well as guaranteeing the receivables from clients in due time. It is also responsible for complying with all legal deadlines and submission of all mandatory declarations and also the submission of detailed reports to Head Office, our clients and/or other Departments.
YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN THE FINANCE TEAM
- Ensure correct, qualitative, and timely of all reports of finance team of our entity according to the local norms and group norms, ensuring accuracy and documental support for each task.
- Position yourself as an interlocutor of banks, regulator, and suppliers in order to comply with the inherent functions of receipts and payments according to the established deadlines.
- Ensure a reliable and optimized treasury management of all bank accounts of the company. All the transactions must be prepared that allow full security of all the operations supervised by your manager.
- Ensure a good optimization and improvement of all process and reports required for performance of your function from a safety point of view as well as productivity and quality.
- Ensure that all the procedures of the department are updated according to the norms of the group.
AS OUR JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT, YOU MUST HAVE:
- Degree in Accounting / Auditing
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position (experience in an accounting office would be a bonus, but not mandatory).
- Full professional proficiency in English – written and verbal communication. Fluency in French would be a plus.
- Strong MS Excel skills - formulas, vlookup, charts
- Ability to adapt to changes and evolution whilst being able to plan work ahead and prioritize workload
