Job Title: Java Developer

Position Purpose:
The suitable candidate will drive the development of modular, reusable batch solutions (Java Stack – e.g. Java Spring Batch, REST API, Spring boot etc) that hosts/consumes/orchestrates APIs from various upstream and downstream systems in a cloud platform, all in accordance to the organization’s REST API standards and to facilitate the smooth migration to the target Cloud platform.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
• Participate to the full development lifecycle including design, estimation, planning, development, unit test, release and implementation support.
• Work with the Business Analyst and Tech lead to understand the business requirements and translate them to technical solutions in the application.
• Good understanding of the OWASP top 10 and its implementation
• Good understanding on SOLID design principle
• Manage Assets Obsolescence such as tracking and planning for remediation.
• Remediate Assets vulnerability and cybersecurity risks.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Contribute / review the technical specifications
- Responsible for managing & reporting technical risk
- Control and Maintain the quality of the developments (norms & standards, frameworks, source control, technical reviews, code reviews)
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Ø Minimum years of IT experience needed: > 5 Years < 8 Years
Ø Minimum years of experience needed in java Spring batch development: >2 years
Ø Hands-on experience with Java technologies and frameworks: Spring (Batch, Core, Security, Boot), REST API
Ø Hands-on experience on ORM (JPA, Hibernate), JMS
Ø Good experience in writing JUnits using Mockito & Rest assured
Ø Hands-on experience on API related activities: requirement analysis, design, resource based API modeling, micro-services architecture.
Ø Working Knowledge on Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
Ø Working knowledge on security concepts such as handling different injection(data,json etc) and also on handling vulnerabilities in dependency jars. Good exposure to the working on NVD
Ø Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude.
Ø Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ø General banking knowledge or Banking knowledge related to Wealth Management / Private banking.
