L?Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer

Department: FR&S / RDS

About Business line/Function: ITG

Position Purpose: 

Risk Dedicated Solutions (RDS) is an ITG-FR&S department hosting various applications relating to RISK monitoring, Credit Risk, Stress Testing and Capital Calculation. 

Within RDS: CRF-Next is a BNPP rating tool dedicated to credit risk assessments and regulatory reporting for the corporate portfolio. Developed as an in-house application to replace the existing external framework.

The candidate will join ITG-FRS-RDS and participate actively in CRF-Next developments and manage the configuration of the software. The activity will mainly consist in analyzing, estimating, developing, documenting and technical assistance. 

The position is a Java/ angular one requiring skills on JAVA, Angular, and Postgres with an additional understanding on cloud environment. The position will lead to develop knowledge on various financial and credit risk topics as well as BNPP information system within a motivating environment.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·         Proposing technical solutions adapted to business needs (Contribute to technical requirements writings)

·         Ensuring a good implementation of best practices and coding standards.

·         Ensuring the good implementation of Devops tools ensuring the high-quality standard.

·         Design and develop IT solutions based on the specifications received.

·         Involving all aspects of the Application development, M&E activities and providing L3 support ticket resolutions and Monitoring of the production environment.

·         Working closely in a “one team” approach with all stakeholders (and particularly Applications Managers) jointly providing high quality deliverables.

·         Taking ownership of technical solutions and managing collaboration on technical evolutions.

·         Participate in the testing phases (Unit, user acceptance, regression…) as required while coordinating with BA, IT and QA teams etc.

·         Provide support to operations from a technical perspective.

Contribute to overall FR&S and ISPL Vision goals as directed by Team and Department Management.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Looking for a software developer with fresher cadre who has good analytical skills and eager to learn new things and adapt to it quickly. Expected to work with Java 21/J2EE (Spring Boot, JPA, Maven, JUnit), Angular 16+ for the front‑end, and Postgres; The candidate should be comfortable setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins, enforcing code quality with Sonar, and writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests while working in an Agile environment. We value teamwork, adaptability, a results‑driven attitude, and good listening and communication skills.

Specific Qualifications:

Bachelor in Eng./ B-Tech/ MCA (Equivalent)

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)

Technical Skills:

·         Technical knowledge proven in practice of developing and managing the team with Java 21, Angular 16, SpringBoot3, Hibernate, PLSQL

·         Good Knowledge of Domain Driven Design or Clean code /Clean architecture

·         Good knowledge of Bootstrap, Responsiveness & accessibility concerns

·         Technical knowledge linked to cloud IBM - Kubernetes & Docker

·         Knowledge in DevOps toolchain processing - Jenkins, Ansible, Sonar, Gitlab

·         Middleware: WebSphere 8.6

·         Knowledge of API Architecture and authentication process

·         Practice in Quality approach (Test strategy with ALM, Quality of Code with Sonar)

·         Agile working Method

·         Unit testing, Integration testing, Acceptance testing

Behavioral Skills: 

·         Ability to coordinate with the Team.

·         Ability to provide step-by-step functional and technical help, both written and verbal.

·         Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical and functional issues.
