IT Team Leader - Cybersecurity
ABOUT THE JOB
BNP PARIBAS, a leading bank in the European Union and a major international financial player, is expanding its cybersecurity capabilities. Joining the EMEA IT Risk and Cybersecurity Office within the IT Directorate of BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), you will be a key member of the EMEA Ethical Hacking division.
In this leadership role, you will drive the operational excellence of our security testing programs. You will be responsible for the end-to-end orchestration of pentest campaigns (encompassing Applications, APIs, Infrastructure, and Mobile) across CIB EMEA, directly contributing to the identification, remediation, and mitigation of vulnerabilities to strengthen the bank's overall security posture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Leadership: Lead the EMEA cybersecurity testing coordination team, ensuring the strategic planning, execution, and tracking of all pentest activities in alignment with the annual Book of Work.
- Global Collaboration: Act as a primary liaison with our dedicated pentest service teams in India to guarantee high-quality technical delivery, rigorous technical reviews, and seamless cross-border coordination.
- Quality & Compliance Governance: Maintain and optimize reporting tools to ensure the highest standards of data integrity, while ensuring all EMEA security testing activities comply with CIB internal policies and stringent regulatory requirements.
- Audit & Performance Management: Support internal and external audit processes by managing KPIs/KRIs and implementing controls required by CIB procedures, providing clear visibility to stakeholders and ensuring constant audit readiness.
- Vendor & Budget Management: Oversee third-party cybersecurity contracts and service consumption for EMEA; assist in the procurement and management of new contracts to ensure budgetary efficiency and alignment with CIB EMEA strategic priorities.
PROFILE & SKILLS
- Professional Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role and minimum 5–8 overall years of experience within Cybersecurity, Program Management, or IT Service Delivery.
- Domain Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, with a strong preference for experience in offensive security (pentesting) or security testing orchestration.
- Leadership Provenance: Proven track record of managing teams within large-scale, global organizations and overseeing complex service delivery models.
- Strategic Mindset: A proactive problem-solver with hands-on experience implementing international processes and procedures.
- Communication & Facilitation: Exceptional ability to facilitate high-level meetings and committees; excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Global Collaboration: Ability to manage services and drive results through dependencies on multi-country, distributed teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
