What is the role?

To carry out his/her missions, the IT Manager/ Team Lead will have have the following responsibilities:

  • Be the preferential point of contact for his/her business line, as well as for monitoring the proper functioning of the services
  • Advise his/her teams by guiding them in the use of standard IT products and reminding them of the technological roadmap
  • Manage escalations and the treatment of business irritants
  • Secure the quality of the services according to the Service Contracts signed
  • Write procedures, enhance existing incident reports
  • Client Relationship: communicate to the Client changes, incidents and provide a summary about service quality, in agreement with the Service Contract
  • Stay in touch as an individual and as a team to evolutions of the technologies in your perimeter, follow the functional and organizational changes, consider new procedures for handling your perimeter
  • Having a precise knowledge of the services provided to each customer
  • Support the local team in the daily activities
  • Monitor the local teams’ backlog and allocation, follow-up on the main topics
  • Manages escalations and prioritization, both with respect to his/her business line and to stakeholders’ requirements
  • Contact point for the main stakeholders (architects, test teams, DevOps teams, clients, management)
  • Ensure that relevant indicators are implemented for measuring and improving the quality of the service delivered
  • Review existing procedures and suggest improvements
  • Keep up to date the job descriptions, operating procedures and the documentation related to your day-to-day activities
  • Participate in interviews and evaluation of the people under his/her coordination
  • Follow up on people’s career path, empower them and encourage their development
  • Rely on BNP processes to develop yourself and the team members

What qualities do we look for?

  • Previous experience in leading development teams is a must
  • Previous experience in developing Java applications (both front and backend) is required
  • As the manager of the development teams, we expect proven knowledge in at least some of the following areas:

Java backend (Spring Boot)

Angular

Microservices

Oracle, Docker. Kubernetes & NoSQL (MongoDB)

UML, DevOps, IntelliJ, Gitlab (Pipeline CI/CD), Cloud Object Storage

ITIL Foundation knowledge is nice to have

General Skills we expect:
