For our IT Governance department, we are currently looking for an IT Financial controller (m/f/x)
Your role :
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop and manage IT Benelux budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Monitor actual vs. budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Communicate with stakeholders (IT Management, Local Finance dept, C-Board, customers, …)
- Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for IT Management in collaboration with IT Management, PMO, Software asset manager, IT sourcing manager…)
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Cost Management
- Track IT expenses, including capacity, hardware, software, licenses, and services (order processing, invoices validation…)
- Provide financial evaluation for IT projects and investments.
- Business Partnering
- Collaborate with IT leadership to align financial strategies with technology goals.
- Advise on financial implications of IT initiatives and digital transformation projects.
- Act as a liaison between Finance and IT teams to ensure transparency and accountability.
Your profile :
- Master in Management, Finance, Economical Sciences or IT profile with experience in IT control management
- Experience of at least 3-4 years as Financial Permanent Control
- Critical thinking, synthesis and analytical thinking, good communications skills
- Ability to work independently and work cooperatively in a team
- Fluent in English and French
- Dutch is a strong asset
