Internship Private Capital Structured Finance and Waterfalls Modelling Analyst

This role sits within the Solution Design team, which is part of our Luxembourg based Private Capital department. The team covers the design and implementation of solutions across Private Capital platforms and teams in Luxembourg to support Private Capital operations. The Private Capital team in Luxembourg provides Private Markets fund managers across 3 major asset classes : Infrastructures, Private Debt, Private Equity (Direct or Funds of Funds):
- Middle office outsourcing
- Fund Administration including Net Asset Value calculation and Waterfall modelling and calculation
- Depositary Bank services
- Account bank services
- Fund financing.
- Domiciliation & Corporate Secretary

Your mission
: Key objectives of the Solution Design include :
· Support the business by developing and maintaining analytical tools and reporting to improve client service quality, efficiency and automation
· Ensuring business objectives for Private Capital are achieved through the development of our so called “Integrated Operating Model”
· Representing both the business and the technology capability globally facing off internal stakeholders (locally and near shore) and external stakeholders (clients, prospects, vendors/suppliers, industry groups)
· Developing engineering capability (methodologies, staff skills, structures, requirements vis a vis systems adaptations (e-FrontInvest from BlackRock Solutions, Sentry PM from Broadridge being the main platform complemented by internal developments) and management disciplines) used to operate the business
Your responsibilities:
Purpose & Scope of role
· This role is to support the Private Capital Team in its activities which include includes Finance Transactions modelling and Waterfalls and supporting Operations Teams
· Candidate should have an appetite to develop knowledge in Finance Modelling and complex waterfall calculations
· Assist in the production high quality compliance report templates for new and existing clients in accordance with the governing documentation (fund Limited Partnerships Agreements) and client / investor demands.
· Review and maintenance of models and reporting
· Support and assist in the deployment and maintenance of analytical tools and reporting for Private Capital fund managers and asset owners
