BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking has maintained a representative office in Mexico since 1966. Job Summary:

BNP Paribas' Global Markets offers client service, investment solutions, hedging, financing, research, and market intelligence across assets and regions. FICC, a business line of Global Markets, stands for Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities.

The AATP (or Analysts & Associates Training Programme) is an exciting program which facilitates the entrants of recent graduates into financial markets by giving them exposure to trading. During the programme, the graduate analyst will benefit from learning and development opportunities, networking events and mentoring. All along the program, the graduate analyst will: 1) Acquire knowledge of the activities that she/he is discovering, 2) Learn and use technical and tools of hers/his domain, 3) Create hers/his internal network and start building solid working relationship with her/his stakeholders, 4) Build a risk awareness culture. 

 Responsibilities:

  • Support to the local Treasurer in complying with the limits governing the ALM Treasury
    • Optimizing the cash management through short term investments
    • Daily funding of the Bank 
    • Producing & maintaining an appropriate flash economic P&L report for ALMT 
    • Support Treasurer in business development initiatives such as implementation of new products
    • Development of tools for investment analysis 
    • Contributing to the preparation of the ALCO presentation
  • Comply with all applicable regulations (local or those defined by Group) and BNPP internal policies as well as Code of Conduct.   This includes but is not limited to Financial Security, Know Your Customer, Due Diligence, Client Interest Protection, Market Integrity, Professional Ethics and Respect for colleagues

Competences and Experience

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree with either Financial/Economic related field
  • Experience in use of MS Office applications, namely Word, Excel, PPT
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Demonstrate methodical, logical, solution-driven thinking, with commercial awareness and a keen interest in latest finance topics as well as market trends.
  • Teamwork & Collegiality: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and geographies, fostering a collegial and supportive work environment. Handle important operations in an accelerated environment. Quick response to issues under pressure.
  • Compliance Awareness: Strong knowledge of risk management practices, regulatory frameworks, and internal controls.
  • Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
