The Associate is expected to be a highly self-motivated person who takes initiatives and can work independently, with guidance from the Senior Relationship Managers and Team Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support Senior Relationship Managers in pitches:
Develop pitch documents based on Senior Relationship Manager’s and Business Lines’ inputs.
Gather relevant data from internal and external sources to develop pitch documents (industry data, financial elements, etc), including interface with junior client contacts to collect specific data needed for the pitch.
Ensure day-to-day coordination of Business Line resources.
2. Support Senior Relationship Managers on the collection of client information necessary to fulfil KYC requirements of the bank and also ESG assessments for credit purposes.
3. Support Senior Relationship Managers in following up with clients on documentations relating to credit facilities.
4. Responsible for maintaining the data integrity of ClientFirst and keeping the system updated promptly.
5. Assist Senior Relationship Managers in the preparation of Client Action Plans and briefing memos
6. Assist Team Head in preparation of the team budget during the budget process and ad-hoc reports required by Management on revenue numbers.
7. Key Performance Indicators:
Mainly qualitative including:
Ability to work independently with initiative
Ability to follow through on specific tasks and achieve them in a timely manner
Team work and co-operation with RMs, Product Lines and Client Management.
Client orientation
Quantitative: Contribution towards achievement of CCG Corporate Coverage objectives and budget.
8. Ensure compliance with Bank’s policies/procedures and regulatory requirements, in particular with regard to the KYC responsibilities and duties, as per relevant policies and procedures, and the summary of responsibilities attached hereto.

Specific Qualifications Required
Degree in Finance, Banking or Business
At least 3-4 years working experience in a bank or financial institution.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
