Fund Accounting and Valuation Specialist
ABOUT THE JOB
Join our Fund Accounting Services team within FA Operations, where you will play a key role in the end-to-end Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation process. This position offers a structured environment to deepen your expertise in fund accounting and valuation while contributing to the operational excellence of a global financial leader.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete preparation and processing of various type of transaction required for funds valuations
- Booking portfolio trades, verifying positions and cash versus custody systems
- ETD positions and margins reconciliation, investigation of unrecognized movements
- Booking and verifying of fund capital activity
- Preparing and processing OTC transactions (Swaps, Options, etc.)
- Processing and reviewing of hedging transactions correctness concerning positions and tolerance, rolling forwards at end of period
- Involvement in process automation projects, direct influence on effectiveness of your own and team’s work.
- Cooperation with multiple locations i.e.France, Ireland, India.
- Dealing with CA’s, OTC and collateral products
- Acting as point of contact for various stakeholders
- Supporting less experienced colleagues in their daily duties
PROFILE & SKILLS
- University degree preferred: Finance and Accounting, Economics or similar
- Previous experience working in fund services industry or similar areas (experience in NAV valuations is a strong asset)
- Good command of MS Office (especially Ms Excel)
- Fluency in English (min. B2)
- Self-motivation and ability to work effectively on your own and in a team
- Accuracy and attention to details
