Fund Accountant in Private Capital Team
Your responsibilities:
- Perform all BAU tasks related to Fund Accounting in timely manner and according to procedures,
- Actively participate in internal or external projects, migrations of the process and ensure that all the deadlines are achieved,
- Perform daily bookkeeping,
- Prepare monthly/quarterly cash reconciliations for the Funds,
- Prepare client’s files with accruals calculation,
- Prepare monthly/quarterly valuations of the Funds,
- Perform, execute and materialize controls for managed operational processes,
- Proactively communicate any cases that could be subject to escalation,
- Maintain superior relationship with business partners and clients,
- Coaching/on the job training of new employees,
- Proactively support line Team Leader in relevant topics and respond to queries from internal and external sources
Requirements:
- Strong command of English (min C1)
- Accounting skills are essential, experience in corporate accounting, audit or private equity firms is a must
- Good Knowledge of Private Capital fund structures/regulations will be considered an advantage
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial markets, financial instruments and debt instruments
- Intermediate/Advanced command of MS Excel and other accounting packages
- Orientation to detail, analytical and problem-solving approach
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational & communication skills
- Willingness to take on new challenges and look for enhancements in existing processes
