Job Title: Functional Tester- payment engine

About Business line/Function:
IT Payment Services department, the worldwide reference for payments in the BNP Paribas Group. We are working on the many applications used worldwide using various technologies and working in Agile methodology.
Position Purpose:
New Payment Engine NPE is an application that manages EURO transactions in SEPA zone specifically Instant Payments in BNPParibas. Given the nature of payments – the engine is expected to process large volumes of transactions in utmost priority sequencing. The application is undergoing numerous enhancements to meet regulatory and product expectations from the business teams and direct consumers.
This position is for Senior Functional Testers for IT systems on Payments and Cash Management for the BNPP Group.
This Position Involves functional testing covering executing the functional and regression tests using Manual and Automation methods.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Understanding testing principles and practices
· Ability to plan, design, and execute test cases
· Able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
· Should have functional Specification Analysis Experience
· Should have experience in API Automation testing
· Work in close co-ordination with functional test team to Analyze test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.
· Closely work with Dev teams/BA to resolve technical & business issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives.
· Must have good analytical skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
· Must be flexible, independent.
· Perform other testing-related duties as required

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
· Good Communications skills
· Experience in Payments and Cash Management Domain testing ( Manual & Automation ) – 5 to 7years
· Good to have experience in cucumber BDD
· Good to have KARATE frame work experience
· Experience in Agile methodology is a Plus
· Working Knowledge of at least one Database (Oracle/MS SQL), 3 tier architecture, Web application servers, and basic UNIX is a plus.
· Skillful in XML/XSD and SQL language (required)
· Handson experience in API testing and tools like Postman is pre-requisite
· Skillful in XML/XSD and SQL language (required)
· Experienced user of ALM/QC, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint
· Experience in working in Agile environment
· Test feature writing for Cucumber (Nice to have)
· Excellent oral and writing communication skills (required)
Specific Qualifications:
· Any Graduation / Master’s Degree
