At Cardif Colombia, our VP ETO and the Data and Integration Management are looking for new Data Development Specialists.
Position Objective:
Design, develop, and implement scalable, reliable, efficient, and auditable data solutions that support critical processes across the organization’s areas, ensuring data‑object quality, traceability, and versioning (pipelines, models, scripts) using development tools (Git, CI/CD) and good governance practices, thereby enabling data‑driven decision‑making, operational optimization, and regulatory compliance.
✔️ Main Responsibilities:
- Design and build data‑integration pipelines with the various tools provided by the company, based on the data architecture and data‑management definitions.
- Develop data artifacts: stored procedures, packages, jobs, queries, and scripts according to the database engine or data source, delivering strategic and operational information requested by clients and partners.
- Address and develop data requirements that arise from projects, initiatives, or support activities, following the prioritisation received from the Development Coordinator via the established prioritisation and formalisation mechanisms.
- Document the delivered developments and keep the documentation up to date.
- Ensure delivery of data artifacts and products to the different support levels.
- Improve, optimise, and evolve the data platform.
- Contribute to the consolidation, delivery, and quality of information required by users, partners, and customers.
- Alert to possible inconsistencies or failures in assigned models or pipelines.
✔️ Profile:
- Professionals with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Systems Engineering, or related fields with an analytics focus.
- Knowledge and experience in insurance, technology, financial services, consulting, or academia.
- Advanced level of English (mandatory).
