Deputy Team Leader in NAV Recon Team
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in Fund Accounting NAV Calculation
- Practical knowledge and thorough understanding of various types of financial instruments (equities, bonds, ETD/OTC derivatives, corporate actions)
- Understanding of bookkeeping principles and fund accounting
- Working knowledge and thorough understanding of various Corporate Actions
- Previous experience in allocation of work in team - would be an asset
- Knowledge of Multifonds accounting systems would be an asset
- Knowledge of Bloomberg/Reuters will be an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Good communication skills
- Accountability and client servicing mindset. Ability to work to deadlines
- Highly motivated and engaged
- English on advanced level (C1)
- Good PC literacy and command of MS Office
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the accuracy of cash‑ and stock‑reconciliation.
- Ensure reconciliations are complete and submitted within agreed deadlines.
- Allocate work among team members and monitor progress.
- Perform cash‑ and stock‑reconciliation between the custodian and the depositary bank (BNP).
- Investigate complex cash‑ and stock‑discrepancies.
- Control the quality of reconciliation outputs and related investigations.
- Handle escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
- Cooperate closely with teams to ensure NAV accuracy.
- Conduct pre‑release cash‑ and stock‑reconciliation reviews.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to the team and business partners.
- Maintain relationships with business partners at the legacy site.
- Actively participate in process‑innovation initiatives and implementations.
