About the job

  • The main missions of the Senior Credit Analyst are to proceed to the credit risk analysis of a counterpart, assess the factorability of the operations, contributing to the portfolio risk monitoring and follow-up
  • Her/his position is sedentary, but he/she may have to travel as part of his duties
  • The actions carried out must consider the branch's development priorities both in terms of products and markets and must be carried out in a spirit of transversality with the other departments of the branch
  • The employee must carry out his duties in a responsible manner in accordance with the values and beliefs of the BNPP Group – Code of conduct – and in particular the principles of diversity and inclusion

Your Main Activities Are

  • Perform financial accounts analysis of the counterparts (prospects or clients), assessing a BNPP Rating in the Group CRF tool; Review this rating once a year
  • Issue a risk advice, based on the credit analysis of the prospect/client and the contract’s configuration/factorability
  • Be able to perform client audits, if requested
  • Realise a second level of control regarding the annual client reviews
  • Be able to elaborate the contracts to the new clients, based on pre-approved minutes
  • Elaborate eventual necessary addendums to the contracts of existing clients
  • Ensure the monitoring of the client portfolio, with special focus on watch listed files.
  • Know and apply the rules and surveillance measures established by Compliance, in terms of Financial Security and Protection of Clients' Interests, Market Integrity, Professional Ethics and Banking and Tax Law
  • Act in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Tax Fraud, Internal and External Corruption, Market Integrity and Banking and Tax Law Compliance Directives and apply the guidelines on international financial sanctions and KYC policies
  • Ensure that the company complies with the principles that grant the protection of the client's interests in the sale of products and services, understanding the needs, with fair treatment, informing the client in a timely manner, clearly and accurately. Act ethically and with integrity, in accordance with the Code of Conduct

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields
  • At least 5 years’ experience as Credit Analyst/ Financial Analyst
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • Ability to deliver/Results driven
