Position Purpose:
This role is responsible for supporting the Credit Analyst Team in performing credit analysis of the Bank’s clients.
Responsibilities:
[guided by the Bank’s Credit Analyst Charter and Mission Statement].
Direct Responsibilities
- Support / Assist the Credit Analysts for:
- Preparation of financial spreadsheets using the Bank’s internal applications.
- Preparation of synthetic credit proposals.
- Collation of data, maintaining work trackers.
- Liaising/ coordinating with different teams within BNP Paribas networks in context of the credit process.
- Monitoring clients’ credit evolution and immediately alert the management for any early warning signals. This includes, but not limited to, timely update of financial spreadsheets, regular compliance checks on financial covenants change in ratings or any major event or material evolution.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Communicate reliably and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Gain an understanding of the Bank’s credit policies / methodologies.
- Contribute to any other portfolio or credit administrative and statistical works as required - such as sector analysis, RDPC (Risk & Development Policy Committees) and watch list / doubtful processes.
- Support in responding on credit-related matters from the regulators / internal auditors.
- Assist the Head and Team Lead of CTCM on ad-hoc basis as required.
- Provide back-up on tasks performed by CTCM team when necessary.
- Contribute to the Permanent Control framework.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory mechanisms and compliance of credit process with the same.

Specific Qualifications:
Education Level:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce
- Articled Trainees having cleared the Intermediate Level of Chartered Accountancy course and in the last year of articled training.
