Position Purpose: The Team oversees building and maintaining a middle office application for EQD booking, position management, Trade flow and Workflow management. The role is of a Business Analyst who can think analytically and translate the business requirements to technical specifications. The role demands to have an experience of working within a dynamic setup and a need of responding to changing business needs. Anyone in this position needs to be committed for developing required skills to provide up-to-date solutions.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Enhancement, create requirements documents from business needs / user needs for the system or systems in F2B EQD perimeter for development team.
- Documentation for post release support activities and handover.
- Training the team on the functional aspects which were worked upon.
- Stakeholder management.
- Maintain and update existing documentation and processes as per new developments.
- Good knowledge of SDLC and enforce good practices within team.
- Determine acceptance criteria and help checking quality of the solution delivered.
- Design & execute manual tests for functional testing and automate it.
Contributing Responsibilities
1. Documentation of various features in the application.
2. Participate in configuration & release management.
3. L3 Business support post delivery.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Knowledge of various financial products and their working and lifecycle options, futures, warrants, certificates, swaps, etc .
- Knowledge about various markets across the globe with regulatory needs, exchange rules, settlement cycles, etc
- Thorough knowledge of Trade lifecycle. Good know-how of FO, MO and BO along with their roles and responsibilities.
- Knowledge of basic SQL. Able to write queries involving joins, aggregations, clauses, etc
- Knowledge of JIRA and configuration management tools. Preferred GIT & BitBucket.
- Analytical Skills.

- Ability to work within tight deadlines
9. Good knowledge in systems, application frameworks, databases and optional experience in software development.
10. Good to have knowledge in Banking domain
