What are we looking for?
- Education: Master’s degree in finance with focus in Derivatives
- Behavioral & soft skills: precision, teamwork approach; proactivity and problem solving attitude; responsiveness; organization skills; reliable; ability to use initiative; multi-tasker
- Technical skills: Fluent English and Italian (written and spoken), Spanish is a plus; good knowledge of Office tools
What will you be doing as an intern within Global Markets – Equity Derivatives Sales team?
- support in all client activities, making sure we can respond to enquiries and maintain high client satisfactions
- market intelligence and research analysis on market trends and products launched in the market
- support in all post trading activity, with interactions in full autonomy with middle office and back office
- maintain our reporting activities and KPI monitoring for the business
- marketing material screening and preparation and support to organize events
What about the Team?
The activity of the Equity Derivatives Front Office team has access to the entire process and to a wide range of experts. You will work from our flagship Diamond tower on the 23rd floor, overviewing Milan. The position will show you what a job in Global Markets looks like and the wide range of activities you will see will help you understand the entire Equity & Derivatives franchise.
In particular you will interact with the teams of:
- Distribution and Listed Certificates activity support to the sales team: BNP Paribas is a leader is the listing of Certificates, and you will be helping the salesforce to continue growing this franchise.
- Institutional sales team support: BNP Paribas is a partner of many institutions in Southern Europe active in the Equity Derivatives market. You will be supporting the front office team who handles the relationships with insurers, asset managers and banks.
- THEAM fund sales support: our THEAM franchise is a fast-growing fund business where our flagship systematic strategies are distributed to Retail and Institutions. You will be learning about the activity behind the construction and the sales of funds and support the salesforce.
