About Business line/Function :
The Nearshore department is a Cross Border team located in Mumbai and fully dedicated to the APAC region. The Nearshore department is under creation and going through different projects of on-boarding new services and implementing a new accounting and reporting system (OFS). The platform is design to service entities across APAC including:
· BNPP Group legal entities in North, South East Asia and Australia.
· The functional scope covers Financial & Management Accounting & Reporting, Credit Risk Reporting and contribution to the Liquidity Reporting.

Position Purpose
The main responsibility of the Subject Matter Stream (SMS) is to ensure the accuracy of the financial and management accounting ledgers along with relevant financial controls through a new BNP Paribas tool (OFS). Understanding the tools and processes, daily/monthly financial controls as per the target operating model and ensure these processes are followed and documented with adequate level of controls.
Act as a key point of contact to the Middle Office, Operations, Local Finance and the Regional teams.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for the production of the Financial and Management accounting for a business unit (entity or business line)
Test all feeds and processes before entities go live on the new systems
Explain the components of the financial and management accounting variance to the Financial Controller via dedicated governance
Ensure the accuracy of the Financial and Management accounting ledgers via a strong level 1 control
Understand the OFS processes and usage of OFS tools from the financial and management accounting, controls and reporting perspective
Create process documentations for respective areas for productions teams to follow in the target operating model
Be responsible for the static data of the entity/business unit
Support the production teams during parallel run and go-live to ensure that the OFS tools and processes are followed as per the target operating model
Have proper oversight over non-finance teams to ensure they are performing their controls.
Review and sign-off controls performed by operations and other non-finance teams
Perform Profit & Loss, Foreign exchange and MTM reconciliation between Middle Office and accounting
Explain the differences between the Middle Office and the Accounting P&L (structural differences and P&L corrections
