About Business line/Function: The Real Asset team will focus on Securitized & Structured Assets (SSA) Portfolio Management Support; Insurance Linked Securities (ILS) - Portfolio Data Analytics; Corporate Credit (CC) - Leverage Loan Fund Reporting; Credit (CC) – Leverage Loan Database Management; specifically in support of Structured Finance functions
Position Purpose: The successful candidate will be an experienced manager driving process improvements with a collaborative management style and ability to create a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Download, validate and upload all CDO‑related files (NVR, Trustee reports, collateral, etc.) from trustee sites or email and ensure they are reflected correctly in the PHOBOS database.
- Maintain and reconcile coupon, amortisation and price data (Bloomberg vs Note Valuation reports) for each tranche; correct equity‑tranche splits and close redeemed deals after trustee confirmation.
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly valuation dashboards, price‑collection logs and BLOTTER reports; extract, transform and load data from PHOBOS, INTEX, Bloomberg and email archives.
- Support primary‑market CLO activities: gather guideline documents, complete pre‑trade check templates and generate trading‑capability reports for CLO managers.
- Create and maintain instrument, deal and ESG scorecard records in PHOBOS/Ouranos/MAIA.
- Respond to ad‑hoc requests, auditor queries and compliance checks (risk‑retention, CRDB, quarterly internal rating) across SSA, ABS, Private Financing, Mortgage and ILS teams.
- Coordinate with trustees, custodians, internal PMs and external vendors (BNP PAM, BNY Mellon, DALI, State Street) to secure access rights, confirm data, and upload weekly warehouse prices.

- Oversight and accountability for day-to-day processing of the team, ensuring excellent client service and risk management

- Ensure adherence to internal risk and control frameworks, participating in internal/external audits and various internal control testing

- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Compilation of monthly statistics to manage the business, ensuring KPIs are met or remediation plans are in place
- Ensure any deviation from our standard operating models are formally agreed internally and documented with the onshore oversight location
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Analytical mindset with the ability to perform control checks, investigate discrepancies and escalate appropriately.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, VBA) and strong data-management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; ability to liaise with multiple internal and external parties.

- Shift timing – 12:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST (09:00 AM to 07:00 PM Europe time)
Specific Qualifications:
- A previous experience in a similar role is mandatory
- Experience in structured‑finance products like Collateralized Loans Obligations and Asset-backed Securities is mandatory. Knowledge on Insurance Linked Securities and mortgage‑backed securities is optional.
- Knowledge of regulatory/compliance frameworks relevant to securitised assets (risk‑retention, ESG, CRDB)
- Proficiency with applications - Bloomberg, INTEX
