Australasia Business Information Security Officer

Position Purpose

 The Business & Information Security organization in APAC manages the key risk topics for the bank including Business Continuity, Information Security and IT Risk. 

 The Australasia Business Information Security Officer supports the Territory Chief Information Security and IT Risk officer to manage Business Continuity and IT security topics for the territory.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

 Operational Resilience
* Implement the Territory OR/BCM programme for Australia & New Zealand, adhering to both the BNPP Group and Regulatory policies and guidelines (CPS232/CPS230)
 * Uplift Territory resilience testing to meet CPS230 requirements
 * Enforce Business Continuity governance through the bi-annual BCP Steering Committee
 * Ensure business recovery solutions are defined, documented, implemented, tested and reviewed periodically.
 * Manage the yearly testing requirements of all BCP scenarios, including the timely production of test plans and reports
 * Ensure all required BCP documentation are reviewed and updated regularly

 Client Support
 * Present to BNP Paribas clients on the bank’s management of Operational Resilience and Information Security
 * Participate in client bid process from Information Security and Operational Resilience perspective
 * Respond to client inquiry on Information Security and Operational Resilience
 * Provide timely support and advice to client onboarding activities from Information Security and Operational Resilience perspective

 Australia & New Zealand IT Security
 * Advise local staff on IT Security policies, procedures and best practices
 * Support local staff on security process and procedures
 * Periodic review of system security for the territory ﴾Security Dashboard, vulnerability report﴿
 * Ensure Shadow/Light IT in the territory are assessed and recorded as per global CIB standard, and the risk assessment and risk treatment are reviewed as per global standard
 * Perform local vendor security assessment as per regional guidelines
