Job Title: Assistant Vice President, Compensation & Regulatory

Location: 525 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07310

Duties Contribute to the Compensation Review Process (CRP) and regulatory matters, including modeling, preparing analysis and reporting, and conducting regional and global controls. Provide counsel and support to managers and HR partners on all compensation matters, including evaluating compensation packages, managing the year-end compensation process, and providing guidance and resolution to day-to-day compensation inquiries. Model, analyze, and report year-end compensation review including base salary, long and short-term incentives, and regional governance. Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for various Committee meetings. Ensure that compensation practices comply with current regional and global legislation and principles such as pay equality and risk and conduct management. Own and execute end-to-end the Carried Interest Plan process, including calculating payout and cost of funds, liaising with Finance and Rewards teams in Paris, communicating with employees and the CIP Committee, and instructing payroll upon approval. Support the Head of Americas Rewards in regulatory and compliance matters, including Board reporting and compensation committee materials (global and regional), regulated employee identification, and compensation and regulatory policies and procedures. Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Control functions to review permanent control, policies, and processes. Partner with internal and external audit missions, CRP certification process, and Operational Risk procedures. Serve as a liaison with all stakeholders, including Recruitment, HRBPs, Business managers, and US Rewards team for all compensation and regulatory related topics. *Telecommuting permitted 40%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP PARIBAS RCC INC. office in Jersey City, NJ. Up to 10% domestic travel, often on short notice.

SALARY:   $95,000 - $126,000/ year

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Data Management, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in an Assistant Vice President role (Compensation & Regulatory) or similar occupation performing data management. Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated Expertise (DE) supporting carried interest plans and fund accounting; DE working with the U.S. and European regulatory landscape and its bearing on compensation and impact on deferrals; DE functioning as liaison with key HR and Business stakeholders (both domestic and international); and DE with excel modeling, data cleaning, and data manipulation.
