Job Title: Assistant Manager - DRIVE Management Support

About Business line/Function: The DRIVE function exists to orchestrate and execute large‑scale, cross‑functional delivery programmes that span multiple businesses, locations and technology layers. Its core mission is to turn strategic ideas into end‑to‑end (E2E) solutions that create measurable value for the GM and ALMT divisions.
Position Purpose:
DRIVE is a team under Global Markets – IT & Operations (GM ITO), and is at the heart of Global Markets (GM) and Asset/Liability Management & Treasury (ALMT), contributing to alignment between Front Office and Functions.
The project managers within DRIVE act as architects of the GM / ALMT Value Chain, working for vertical (Front-Office to Back-Office) or transversal (across several Front Office user groups or locations) projects, especially for their implementation phase.
The DRIVE Project Management Office team’s main mandate is to support DRIVE Management and DRIVE Project Managers worldwide.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Monitor DRIVE projects/ programs through project status reporting, quality assurance and budget coordination
- Act as Committee Secretary for DRIVE management meetings by scheduling meetings, gathering information, preparing presentations, and recording decisions made
- Answer ad-hoc reporting, when requested
- Provide operational support to the DRIVE community, including project management, resource onboarding, training, and other occasional forms of support
- Ensure continuous improvement in areas such as project standards and project templates
- Work as a Project Management analyst in some DRIVE projects
TechnicalCompetencies
Knowledge in portfolio and project methodologies
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint
- Clear, concise, and effective communication, in English
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability and agility to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactivity with a focus on achieving results
- Attention to detail, precision and critical thinking
- Strong work ethic with a high level of autonomy
- Knowledge of the Clarity application is a plus
