About Business line/Function: The Inventory management system (IMS) is designed as a Global view of the firm’s inventory primarily for Equities and Equities-like products. It provides Real-Time computation of inventory pools, Tradeable Position, Computation of Client Long/Short Sell Limits, reconciliation of the Theoretical Positions View, facilitates Real-Time processing of Orders/Executions/OTC events to allow desk to see current Limits and then provide ability to re-assign Limits, Create and Maintain Aggregation Units.
Position Purpose: The role is for Automation cum functional test engineer to design and execute Automation as well as functional tests on IMS application. The candidate will be working with highly motivated professionals who take pride in the quality of their deliverables.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Design, review, and execute Functional / Automation tests based on business requirements.
· Execute functional/manual or automated tests committing to timelines.
· Analyze test results, log defects, track, and re-test defects to ensure resolution.
· Work closely with development teams and business analysts to resolve issues and improve test coverage.
· Communicate effectively with onshore/offshore teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth testing cycles.
· Publish clear and concise test reports to stakeholders.
Contributing Responsibilities

· Daily/Weekly execution reports.
· Communicating and escalating issues and status.
Technical Competencies
- Strong knowledge/ experience on Cucumber Automation.
- Strong knowledge / experience of Selenium WebDriver and Java for test automation.
· Experience with Git & BitBucket for version control.
· Experience with JIRA / Xray for test management.
· Strong with AI usage
· Good to have knowledge in capital markets / Securities financing or Inventory management
· Strong Analytical Ability

Specific Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
