Application Production Support – Transfer Agency

We are looking for an Application Production Support Engineer – Transfer Agency to join our APS (Application Production Support) team. In this position you will be the first point of contact for users of several Transfer Agency applications, providing technical support and, when needed, functional guidance. The primary focus is on keeping the production environment stable and resolving incidents quickly.

Application Production Support – Transfer Agency

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support daily production activities for Transfer Agency applications
• Diagnose and deliver high‑level functional support for accounting systems
• Analyse and resolve and technical issues during production phases
• Provide guidance, mentorship and help build shared team values
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of systems and the Transfer Agency business area
• Manage performance‑related incidents and process specific action requests
• Maintain clear communication, accurate reporting and appropriate escalation
• Participate in testing, internal meetings and coordination calls with service providers

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of SQL with the ability to write complex queries
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle DB, Linux/Unix and enterprise‑level application troubleshooting
• Practical knowledge of ITIL best practices (incident, problem and change management)
• Knowledge in area of Transfer Agency, including a good understanding of transfer agency processes, investor onboarding, account maintenance, and trade processing
• Excellent written and spoken English (mandatory)
• Analytical mindset – capable of interpreting accounting reports, rules and tax implications
• Autonomous and able to lead investigations to resolution
• Client‑focused – able to identify needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Nice‑to‑have: experience with Multifonds (MFTA), monitoring tools (Dynatrace or Splunk), Unix/Linux scripting, and scheduling tools such as Control‑M or Autosys
