About this opportunity
In Global Markets, The Analyst / Graduate Analyst role within the Equities team is based in Stockholm and offers experience within the Equity Sales department, facing Nordic institutional clients, covering Global Equities (US, EU & APAC). You will work with the nr 1 ranked EMEA Equity sales team, with further opportunities to rotate within other Stockholm-based desks including Sales & Trading and Equity Derivatives. This will give you an opportunity to join an industry-leading Equities team, providing you with unparalleled mentorship from industry leaders and exposure to best-in-class research and distribution workflows. You will learn about a variety of products, clients and markets while developing your knowledge within Equities and the banks wider Global Markets offering.
The start date is flexible between December 2026 and June 2027, upon agreement.
The role
In this role, you will work full-time in the Equity Sales team covering Global Equities (US, EU & APAC) facing Nordic institutional clients. You will work closely with equity research and other key stakeholders across global markets desks, connecting our clients to the banks full suite of product offerings including EQD and Prime Brokerage Services.
Opportunities to rotate within Equities Sales & Trading, and Equity Derivatives department also based in Stockholm.
What you will do
- Build relationships with the institutional client base in the Nordics.
- Provide daily newsflow, BNP Paribas Equity research updates, stock pitches and market equity research analyst roadshows to clients.
- Work closely with research and other global market desks to understand, and market the banks complete product offering for clients.
- Facillitate corporate roadshows in the Nordics.
- Represent BNP Paribas at client events, coferences and meetings across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Paris and London.
- Support key management stakeholders to achieve set targets and contribute towards the group goals.
Your profile
- A university degree in a relevant field (Economics, Finance, Business Administration, etc.)
- Prior work experience within markets and/or equities or extra curricular activities supporting equities interest
- Strong interest to build long-term client relationships and a team player
- Proven ability to handle precise tasks in a fast-paced setting while managing shifting priorities
- Confident verbal communication and networking skills
- Methodical, logical, systematic, pro-active and solution-driven approach
- Great multitasking and time management skills
- Keen interest and basic understanding in Financial Markets
- Fluent in English and a Nordic language is a must
